1.1 This specification covers deformed and plain steel reinforcing bars in cut lengths, with a head attached to one or both ends, for concrete reinforcement. Attachment can be accomplished through welding, by integrally hot forging of a head from the reinforcing bar end, by internal threads in the head mating to threads on the bar end, or by a separate threaded nut to secure the head to the bar. Heads are forge formed, machined from bar stock, or cut from plate. Note 18212;This specification is applicable for headed bars produced with welded, threaded, or forged heads and used for reinforcement of concrete structures. The requirements of this specification are not applicable to headed bars where the attachment of the head is accomplished by alternate means. 1.2 Limitations on head dimensions and on obstructions and interruptions of bar deformations on the non-planar features on the bearing face of the head are presented in Annex A1. The requirements in Annex A1 only apply when specified by the purchaser (see 4.1.13). 1.3 This specification is applicable for orders in either SI units as Specification A970M or inch-pound units shown in the text in brackets [Specification A970]. 1.4 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard. The values stated in each system may not be exact equivalents; therefore, each system shall be used independently of the other. Combining values from the two systems may result in non-conformance with the standard. 1.5 This standard does not purport to address all of the safety concerns, if any, associated with its use. It is the responsibility of the user of this standard to establish appropriate safety and health practices and determine the applicability of regulatory limitations prior to use.
The document specifies the balls as machine parts for application in rolling bearings as well as for general industrial use.
This European Standard is for prefabricated reinforced components of autoclaved aerated concrete to be used in building construction for: a) Structural elements: - loadbearing wall components; - retaining wall components; - roof components; - floor components; - linear components (beams and piers). b) Non-structural elements: - non-loadbearing wall components (partition walls); - cladding components (without fixtures) intended to be used for external facades of buildings; - small box culverts used to form channels for the enclosure of services; - components for noise barriers. Depending on the type and intended use of elements for which the components are utilized, the components can be applied - in addition to their loadbearing and encasing function - for purposes of fire resistance, sound insulation and thermal insulation indicated in the relevant clauses of this European Standard. Components covered by this standard are only intended to be subjected to predominantly non-dynamic actions, unless special measures are introduced in the relevant clauses of this European Standard. The term \"reinforced\" relates to reinforcement used for both structural and non-structural purposes. This European Standard does not cover: - rules for the application of these components in structures; - joints (except their strength and integrity E of resistance to fire); - fixtures; - finishes for external components, such as tiling. NOTE AAC components may be used in noise barriers if they are designed to fulfil also the requirements of EN 14388.
This International Standard gives requirements and recommendations for the design, materials, fabrication, inspection, testing and preparation for shipment of air-cooled heat exchangers for use in the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries. This International Standard is applicable to air-cooled heat exchangers with horizontal bundles, but the basic concepts can also be applied to other configurations.
This International Standard specifies requirements for centrifugal pumps, including pumps running in reverse as hydraulic power recovery turbines, for use in petroleum, petrochemical and gas industry process services. This International Standard is applicable to overhung pumps, between-bearings pumps and vertically suspended pumps (see Table 1). Clause 9 provides requirements applicable to specific types of pump. All other clauses of this International Standard are applicable to all pump types. Illustrations are provided of the various specific pump types and the designations assigned to each specific type.
This Europaen Standard contains requirements on positive reciprocating displacement pumps.
CRAs (corrosion-resistant alloys) and other alloys for service in equipment used in oil and natural gas production and natural gas treatment plants in H2S-containing environments whose failure can pose a risk to the health and safety of the public and personnel or to the environment. It can be applied to help avoid costly corrosion damage to the equipment itself. It supplements, but does not replace, the materials requirements of the appropriate design codes, standards, or regulations. This part of ISO 15156 addresses the resistance of these materials to damage that can be caused by sulfide stress-cracking (SSC), stress-corrosion cracking (SCC), and galvanically induced hydrogen stress cracking (GHSC). This part of ISO 15156 is concerned only with cracking. Loss of material by general (mass loss) or localized corrosion is not addressed. Table 1 provides a non-exhaustive list of equipment to which this part of ISO 15156 is applicable, including permitted exclusions. This part of ISO 15156 applies to the qualification and selection of materials for equipment designed and constructed using load controlled design methods. For design utilizing strain-based design methods, see ISO 15156-1:2015, Clause 5. This part of ISO 15156 is not necessarily suitable for application to equipment used in refining or downstream processes and equipment.
This International Standard specifies requirements and gives recommendations for sealing systems for centrifugal and rotary pumps used in the pezroleum, natural gas and chemical industries.
