本标准规定了在民用飞机用电设备的研制中,应考虑的供电电源形式以及供电电源的各种特性对用电设备的影响。规定在用电设备的研制以及机上布线中对电源瞬态的保护、干扰控制、馈电线保护、应急供电和应急用电设备等方面的要求。 本标准适用于民用飞机用电设备的研制及飞机布线的设计。对供电系统与用电设备的协调起指导作用。但应注意协调本标准规定与承制方由于设备的特殊性而不适用的部分。
This part of IEC 61496 specifies general requirements for the design,construction and testing of ELECTRO—SENSITIVE PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT(ESPE)for the safeguarding of machinery Special attention is di rected tofunctional and design requirements that ensure an appropriate safety related performance is achieved AnESPE may include optional safety-related functions,the requirements for which are given in annex AThe particular requirements for specific types of sensing function are given in other parts of this standardThis standard does not specify the dimensions or configuration of the DETECTION ZONE and its disposition inrelation to hazards in any particular application,nor what constitutes a hazardous state of any machineIt is restricted to the functioning of the ESPE and how it inte rfaces with the machineThis standard may be relevant to applications other than those for the protection of persons,for examplefor the protection of machinery or products frOm mechanical damage In those applications additionalrequirements may be necessary,for example when the materials that have to be recognized by thesensing function have different propedies from those of personsThis standard does not deal with electromagnetic compatibility(EMC)emission requirementsThis part of IEC 61496 provides general requirements for ESPES of various types employing differentmethods of sensing The particular requirements for specific types of sensing function will be covered insubsequent parts of this standa~The requirements for ESPES using active opto—electric protective devices,e g light curtains a re contained in part 2This pa rt refers to the technical suitability of the electro—sensitive protective equipment Its application mayrequire the use of substances and/or test procedures that could be inju rious to health unless adequateprecautions were taken Conformance with this standard in no way absolves either the SUPPLIER or the userfmm statutory obligations relating to the safety and health of persons du ring the use of the equipmentcovered by this standard
The standard specifies the performance requirements of instruments as used in the non-invasive measurements of X-ray tube voltage up to 150 kV and the relevant compliance tests.

This part of IEC 60896 applies to all stationary lead-acid cells and monobloc batteries of thevalve regulated type for float charge applications, (i.e. permanently connected to a load andto a d.c. power supply), in a static location (i.e. not generally intended to be moved from placeto place) and incorporated into stationary equipment or installed in battery rooms for use intelecom, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), utility switching, emergency power or similarapplications.The objective of this part of IEC 60896 is to specify the methods of test for all types andconstruction of valve regulated stationary lead acid cells and monobloc batteries used instandby power applications.This part of IEC 60896 does not apply to lead-acid cells and monobloc batteries used forvehicle engine starting applications (IEC 60095 series), solar photovoltaic energy systems(IEC 61427), or general purpose applications (IEC 61056 series).
