Tests have been performed to assess the effects that emissions from digital communication systems have on three maritime radionavigation radars that operate with a primary allocation in the 2 900-3 100 MHz band and two radars that operate with primary allocation in the 9 200-9 500 MHz band. The radars were International Maritime Organization (IMO) SOLAS1compulsory carriage category maritime radionavigation radars that employ scan rates, pulse widths, PRFs, IF bandwidth, noise figure, and antenna beamwidths typical of those identified in Recommendation ITU-R M.1313. These radars are representative of the types being used by the United States Coast Guard for shipboard navigation, by the commercial shipping industry, and recreational boaters as well. The radars operating in the 2 900-3 100 MHz band are identified as Radars A, B and C in this Report and the 9 200-9 500 MHz radars are identified as Radars D and E.

This amendment is intended to outline the requirements and recommended implementation of the OMCC management for a variety of new featuressupported in ONTs, including Voice over IP (VoIP) service, equipment management, power shedding, remote debug, extended test commands, and video ANI enhancements. The primary focus of this amendment is the definition of new standard OMCC managed entity objects and attributes, and expected behaviour of those objects.
Amendment 2 to Recommendation ITU-T G.984.4 contains various updates to Recommendation ITU-T G.984.4 (2008) and Recommendation ITU-T G.984.4 (2008) Amendment 1 (2009). This Recommendation describes the means by which audio, video, data, and control are associated, coded, and packetized for transport between H.323 equipment on a packet-based network. This includes the use of an H.323 gateway, which inturn may be connected to H.320, H.324, or H.310/H.321 terminals on N-ISDN, GSTN, or B-ISDN respectively. The equipment descriptions and procedures are described in ITU-T Rec. H.323 while this Recommendation covers protocols and message formats. Communication via an H.323 gateway to an H.322 gateway for guaranteed Quality of Service (QoS) LANs and thusto H.322 endpoints is also possible.
These revisions are to the UL 296 proposals announced in the March 18, 2005 issue of ANSI's "Standards Action.
