This European Standard specifies: a) the field of application for pillar taps, bib taps, single and multi-hole combination taps for use in: 1) a supply system of Type 1 (see Figure 1); 2) a supply system of Type 2 (see Figure 2); b) the dimensional, leaktightness, pressure resistance, hydraulic performance, mechanical strength, endurance and acoustic characteristics of nominal size 1/2 and 3/4 single taps and combination taps; c) test methods to verify the characteristics. The tests described in this European Standard are type tests (laboratory tests) and not quality control tests carried out during manufacture.) This European Standard applies to draw-off taps (single taps and combination taps) for use with sanitary appliances installed in rooms used for bodily hygiene (cloakrooms, bathrooms etc.) and in kitchens, i.e. for use with baths, wash basins, bidets, showers and sinks. Figure 1 shows a supply system of Type 1 with a pressure range of (0,05 to 1,0) Mpa [(0,5 to 10) bar]. Figure 2 shows a supply system of Type 2 with a pressure range of (0,01 to 1,0) Mpa [(0,1 to 10) bar]. This European Standard applies to sanitary draw-off taps of nominal size 1/2 and 3/4 (PN 10). The conditions of use and classifications are given in Table 1. The Table 2 gives the performance characteristics to be noted if the tap is used outside the recommended operating range.
This European Standard specifies:-- the dimensional, leaktightness, pressure resistance, hydraulic performance, mechanical strength, endurance and acoustic characteristics with which mechanical mixing valves need to comply;-- test methods to verify the characteristics. The tests described in this European Standard are type tests (laboratory tests) and not quality control tests carriedout during manufacture. This European Standard applies to PN 10 mechanical mixing valves for use with sanitary appliances installed inrooms used for bodily hygiene (cloakrooms, bathrooms, etc.) and in kitchens, i.e. for use with baths, wash basins, bidets, showers and sinks. The conditions of use and classifications are given in O.
This European Standard specifies:-- the dimensional, leaktightness, mechanical, hydraulic and acoustic characteristics with which shower outlets shall comply;-- the procedures for testing these characteristics. This European Standard applies to shower heads and hand showers of any material used for ablutionarypurposes and intended for equipping and supplementing sanitary tapware for baths and showers. This European Standard applies to shower heads and hand showers connected downstream of the obturatorof the tapware.Integral and remote spray attachments incorporated in tapware (e.g. sink and wash basin mixing valves) arenot covered by this standard.Details of pressures and temperatures are given in Table 1.
This standard specifies requirements and test methods for multifunction shower cabinets (subsequently referred to as unit(s)), used for domestic purposes. This standard does not apply to shower cabinets and shower enclosures.NOTE For the purposes of this standard the term \"domestic purposes\" includes use in hotels, accommodation forstudents and similar buildings, except when special provisions e. g. medical, are required.
This British Standard specifies requirements for the selection, installation, inspection, commissioning and maintenance of gas‑firedwater-heating appliances, which have a rated heat input notexceeding 70 kW, based on net calorific value. It applies to water-heating appliances utilizing 1st, 2nd or 3rd familygases designed to operate in the condensing or non‑condensingmode for the supply of hot water for domestic purposes in domesticdwellings or domestic dwellings in commercial premises. This standard does not apply to:a) water-heating appliances with a rated input of over 70 kW;b) hot water supply systems in multiple dwellings supplied from acentral source. It does not cover the detailed design and installation of the whole hotwater distribution system, which was specified in BS 5449.This standard applies to water-heating appliances which carry aCE mark and also to previously used water-heating appliances whichdo not carry the CE mark (see 5.3.1).
This part of BS 6100 defines terms for the systems, installations andequipment that:a) provide water, electricity, heat, warm air and gases;b) facilitate internal communication and transport, lighting and wasteremoval. This standard does not define terms outside the curtilage of premises,e.g. water supply and public health engineering, which are both coveredin BS 6100-6.
This part of BS 6465 gives recommendations on the location, numbers, siting, design and management of public toilets. It is applicable to theprovision of new facilities and to the retention and refurbishment ofexisting facilities. This standard is applicable to the following types of public toilet facilities:a) municipal public on-street toilets;b) off-street publicly available toilets (e.g. in shopping malls);c) automatic public conveniences (APCs);d) street urinals;e) facilities for disabled people, from the point of view of scale ofprovision and location;f) baby changing and ancillary toilet facilities.
This European Standard specifies:a) the field of application for pillar taps, bib taps, single and multi-hole combination taps for use in:1) a supply system of Type 1 (see Figure 1);2) a supply system of Type 2 (see Figure 2);b) the dimensional, leaktightness, pressure resistance, hydraulic performance, mechanical strength, enduranceand acoustic characteristics of nominal size ½ and ¾ single taps and combination taps;c) test methods to verify the characteristics. The tests described in this European Standard are type tests (laboratory tests) and not quality control tests carriedout during manufacture. This European Standard applies to draw-off taps (single taps and combination taps) for use with sanitaryappliances installed in rooms used for bodily hygiene (cloakrooms, bathrooms etc.) and in kitchens, i.e. for use withbaths, wash basins, bidets, showers and sinks.Figure 1 shows a supply system of Type 1 with a pressure range of (0,05 to 1,0) Mpa [(0,5 to 10) bar].Figure 2 shows a supply system of Type 2 with a pressure range of (0,01 to 1,0) Mpa [(0,1 to 10) bar].This European Standard applies to sanitary draw-off taps of nominal size ½ and ¾ (PN 10).The conditions of use and classifications are given in Table 1. The Table 2 gives the performance characteristics tobe noted if the tap is used outside the recommended operating range.
This European Standard specifies:\n— the dimensional, mechanical, hydraulic and acoustic characteristics with which flow rate regulators should comply;\n— the procedures for testing these characteristics. This European Standard is applicable to:\n— flow rate regulators intended to be mounted on tapware used with sanitary appliances in toilets, washrooms and kitchens (single taps, combination tap assemblies, mechanical mixing valves, thermostatic mixing valves);\n— flow rate regulators used under the following pressure and temperature conditions:\nFlow rate regulators can only be connected downstream of the obturator of the tap.
