This Publicly Available Specification (PAS) gives guidance onhow large hotel premises and hotel chains can improve theiraccessibility to disabled people or people with a long-termhealth condition in the UK.Note 1 For further information regarding the applicability ofthis PAS please see the section headed ‘Does this documentapply to you?’ within the introduction.This PAS will assist large hotel premises and hotel chains seekingto meet the requirements of the Disability Discrimination Act(DDA) 1995 [1].It can also be used as guidance on how to make the facilitiesand services of large hotels and hotel chains more accessiblefor all users, including older people and those with luggage.Note 2 This PAS aims to provide guidance on all areas of hotelpremises and service.
