本标准规定了加油站用于石油产品、乙醇汽油的玻璃纤维增强塑料地下贮罐的术语和定义、分类和标记、材料、结构与制造、要求、试验方法、检验规则和标识、包装、运输、贮存。本标准适用于工作压力为-2 kPa~3 kPa、埋地深度为0.5 m~2.1 m的卧式圆筒形玻璃纤维增强塑料单层地下贮罐(F单层罐)、玻璃纤维增强塑料双层地下贮罐(F/F双层罐)和钢-玻璃纤维增强塑料双层地下贮罐(S/F双层罐)。

Covers spherical or cylindrical, atmospheric-type tanks of glass-fiber-reinforced plastic that are intended for the underground storage of petroleum-based flammable and combustible liquids. These tanks are completely assembled and tested for leakage before shipment. They are intended for installation and use in accordance with ANSI/NFPA 31-1981, Installation of Oil-Burning Equipment, and ANSI/NFPA 30-1981, Flammable and Combustible Liquids Code. This standard does not cover optional accessories for these tanks, such as heating coils or hotwells; nor does it cover compartmented tanks.
