Diese Europäische Norm behandelt die Anforderungen, die Badewannen für den Hausgebrauch2) aus Acrylmaterial erfüllen müssen, um sicherzustellen, daß das Erzeugnis nach dem laut Vorschrift des Her-stellers erfolgten Einbau eine zufriedenstellende Gebrauchstauglichkeit hat.Diese Norm legt keine Anforderungen für die Anbringung von Zulaufarmaturen an der Badewanne fest. Er ist deshalb anwendbar für Badewannen mit an oder in der Wand montierten Zulaufarmaturen. Für Badewannen mit angebrachten Zulaufarmaturen ist er ebenfalls zugrunde zu legen. In diesem Fall sind die Anforderungen für die Anbringung von Armaturen zu beachten, wenn solche vorhanden sind.Diese Norm gilt für alle Größen und Typen von Badewannen. Es ist beabsichtigt, die Nenn- und Bezugs-größen in weiteren Normen festzulegen.
