Specifies the characteristics of these components with aluminium conductors in locations in which the stabilized conductor temperature does not exceed 105 degrees centigrade. Includes information on terminology, materials, demensions, finish, inhibitors, inspection, markings, performance and installation.

However, the phase-sensitive eddy-current method specified in ISO 21968 is particularly usable to this application and can provide thickness results with a higher accuracy (see Annex A).
