This document specifies the values or options chosen for the test parameters (i.e. the impact energy, specimen dimensions, specimen type, specimen supports and test temperature) for both unnotched and notched specimens, for testing the impact resistance (pendulum method) of thermoplastics pipes of the following materials, in accordance with ISO 9854-1. It applies to pipes made of unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-U), high-impact poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-HI), oriented unplasticized poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-O), chlorinated poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC-C), acrylonitrile/butadiene/styrene (ABS), acrylonitrile/styrene/acrylate (ASA), propylene homopolymer (PP-H), propylene impact polymer (PP-B), propylene random copolymer (PP-R), propylene random copolymer with modified crystallinity (PP-RCT), and polyethylene (PE).
INTRODUCTION This Technical Note will provide guidance about the recommended proximity of certain types of plastic pressure pipe and tubing to various types of recessed lighting fixtures, which are also known as “pot lights” or “can lights”. Recessed light fixtures are available in two classes, non-insulation contact and insulation contact (i.e. IC-rated). This Technical Note applies to the following types of plastic pressure pipes and tubing: • CPVC: Chlorinated polyvinyl chloride • PEX: Crosslinked polyethylene • PE-RT: Polyethylene of raised temperature • PP-R: Random copolymerized polypropylene • PP-RCT: Polypropylene random copolymer with modified crystallinity & temperature resistance These materials are commonly used in applications such as hot- and cold-water plumbing, fire protection, and hydronic heating and cooling, including radiant heating and cooling systems. INTRODUCTION Plastic pressure pipe materials are commonly used in applications such as hot- and cold-water plumbing, fire protection, and hydronic heating and cooling including radiant distribution systems. This Technical Note provides guidance about insulating the following types of plastic pressure pipe and tubing materials within residential buildings: • CPVC: chlorinated polyvinyl chloride • PEX: crosslinked polyethylene • PEX/AL/PEX: crosslinked polyethylene/aluminum/crosslinked polyethylene • PE-RT: polyethylene of raised temperature resistance • PP-R: random copolymerized polypropylene • PP-RCT: polypropylene random copolymer with modified crystallinity & temperature resistance This document focuses on insulating plastic pressure piping materials from the perspective of freeze protection, and not energy conservation. Requirements and
INTRODUCTION This PPI Technical Note focuses on the application of chlorine dioxide within buildings and its potential effects on the following plastic hot- and cold-water plumbing distribution pipe materials: • CPVC: chlorinated polyvinyl chloride • PEX: crosslinked polyethylene • PE-RT: polyethylene of raised temperature resistance • PP-R: polypropylene random copolymer • PP-RCT: polypropylene random copolymer with modified crystallinity & temperature resistance Currently, limited North American industry data is publicly available to predict the impact that chlorine dioxide may have on specific plumbing distribution pipe materials. This Technical Note addresses this topic based on data that has been collected through an extensive analysis of published research combined with the experience and expertise of PPI members.
本规程适用于新建、改建、扩建的以水为输送介质的结晶改善型无规共聚聚丙烯(PP-RCT)管道工程的设计、施工及验收。
This International Standard specifies the minimum values for expected strength as a function of time and temperature in the form of reference lines, for use in calculations on pipes made of: — polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H); — polypropylene block copolymer 1) (PP-B); — polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R); — polypropylene random copolymer 2) with a modified crystallinity (PP-RCT).
This draft standard describes the code of practice for planning and construction of drinking water systems in houses and properties as well as the components, apparatus and materials which are to use. It supplements DIN EN 806-2 and gives additional specifications considering national laws, regulations and German Technical Rules.
This Standard is applicable in combination with DIN EN 681-1, DIN EN 681-2 and DIN EN 681-3 for joints for pipe connections of sewers and drains as well as manholes and sanitary appliances and connections with elastomeric seals. The requirements of the document are only applicable, if the corresponding product-standard for pipes of sewers and drains as well as manholes and sanitary appliances and connections with elastomeric seals doesn't contain such requirements. I does not apply to joints for pipes for which functional test methods are published in European Standards for pipes and fittings.
This document contains catagorized results of fire tests of buildings materials, components and construction types. Due to the assignment to the classes of building materials according to DIN 4102 part 1 and the fire resistance classes of the other parts of DIN 4102 respectively, further fire tests for the verification of usability required by the building regulations are not necessary.
The draft standard specifies requirements and test methods for perforated pipes made from polyehtylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) applied for collection and drainage of seepage water for landfills.
